HOW TO REMOVE ATTRIBUTION (POWERED BY BLOGGER) FROM BLOGGER

Attribution of a blog is the part of footer of your blog saying "Powered by Blogger". It is a locked gadget and if you have tried to remove it, you would have understood what I am trying to say. Removing the attribute from your blog is a very easy task. As you can see I also removed my attribution. Actually many of my friends asked me the way to do this and then I thought to post it on my Blog to help you all. To remove the attribution you need to follow the steps I tell you.

Steps to remove attribution in blogger :

• Go to Template tab of your Blog.
• Select 'Edit HTML' option. 
• Very Important - Although it is 100% safe but for your safety first backup your template because we are going to edit your template.
• Click anywhere in the HTML code area.
• Press Ctrl + F to open Search Box in the HTML Code area.
• Search for the following text '</head>'.
• Just above '</head>' add the code :

<style>#Attribution1 {display: none;}</style>

• Click on 'Save Template' button to save changes.

Warning - I have not studied the terms and conditions of Blogger since a while  to see whether it is legal or not to remove the attribution so please study the terms and conditions and if it is legal then also, a statement may be later added to the terms and conditions to make it compulsory to keep the attribution.Please, remove it at your own risk. 

That was all. Now open your Blog and see that it worked or not. If it didn't comment your problems in the comment box and please check if you followed exactly what we have told you.

Note - If you want to get the attribution back just delete the code you pasted and it will come back.
