HOW TO CREATE A FACEBOOK PAGE LIKE BOX - STEPS WITH PICTURES

Like box is a special like button designed by Facebook only Facebook Pages. But sadly Facebook doesn't provide an automatic way to create it anymore so we came up with this post. Due to release of Graph API version 2.3 the Facebook Like Box was deprecated. Facebook said that if we don't upgrade the box manually it will automatically fall back to the 'page plugin' by 23-6-14 that Facebook asks to use instead of the Like Box but since ours didn't fall back we thought to share how to create the box, since, Facebook doesn't help us create it.

Steps :

• Open Blogger > Dashboard > Blog > Page Layout.

• Now in the area you want to create the Page Like Box, select 'Add a Gadget'. You should choose the one in right sidebar area. But if you want it somewhere else, do whatever you want to do.

• In the Pop-up Select 'HTML/Java Script' Gadget.

• You can leave the Title box empty. Paste this code in content box :-

• Paste your page URL in the place of Yellow highlighted text. Your page URL can be found by opening your page. The text after 'www.facebook.com/' is your URL. For example our URL is 'uniquedsoftware' that is placed after 'www.facebook.com/'  like this 'www.facebook.com/uniquedsoftware'.
• Click on save and you are done.
• If you want to increase or decrease the height, increase or decrease the number highlighted in blue. 
• If you want to increase or decrease the width, increase or decrease the number highlighted in green.
