There are few quick, straight forward and easy steps to do backup your Facebook data :-
- Go to Facebook and Log In.
- Click on down arrow button on the top right corner of the menu bar.
- In the drop-down Menu click on "Settings" button.
- A new page will open.
- On the new page, under the General account settings click on "Download a copy" link.
- On the next Page click on "Start My Archive".
- Reenter your password and click on "Submit" button.
- Click on "Start My Archive".
- Your archive will take some time to get created and you will receive an email to your registered email address when its created.
- Go to the link in the e-mail and click on "Download Archive".
The e-mail will be valid for only a few days so watch your inbox. If you didn't download the archive backup within few days the link won't work and you will have to repeat all the steps again.
