HOW TO TAKE PART IN IPL FANTASY LEAGUE 2015

If you are a Pepsi IPL fan and you want to win cool sports memorabilia from Pepsi IPL 2015 you need to play the Fantasy League. Since, the begining of IPL it has become a craze for the Indians. People in India follow cricket as if it is their religion so We have got you a very good way to win cool sports memorabilia from Pepsi IPL. You just need to follow the steps given in our post and finalize yourself a great strategy because winning here is not easy at all.

• Go to the Fantasy League Home Page.
• Now we need to register.
• You can do it in two ways :-
1. By Facebook Login.
2. By Email Login.
• Let us see through Facebook Login.
• Just click on Sign in with Facebook button.
• In the pop-up window provide your User Id and Password.
• Press Okay if its asked.
• Give your information in the Next page.
• Read the T&Cs and Privacy Policy before pressing Submit.
• On the next Page Select your team name and Motto.
• Finalize your team image or upload one yourself.
• Press Submit.

To Log In through Email Id press this link, fill up the form and :

• On the next Page Select your team name and Motto.
• Finalize your team image or upload one yourself.
• Press Submit.

Now you have become the owner of an IPL Fantasy team, their are three competitions Championship, Daily Challenge and All Stars.

Championship :

To play championship you have to select your squad. Just click on the Select Squad button on the first page that appears after you finalized your team. You are given 10000000 Fantasy money to buy 11 players who are also given different price tags.

Squad Composition must be as follows :

BALANCE 

• Batsmen:4 or 5
• All-Rounders:At least 1
• Wicket Keeper:Exactly 1 (you can pick variable role wicket keepers as batsmen)
• Bowlers:At least 2

OVERSEAS LIMIT

You can pick a maximum of 4 overseas players in your squad, after all its the 'Indian' Premier League.

UNCAPPED QUOTA

Your squad must have at least 1 uncapped player. An uncapped player is an Indian cricketer who has not played in any ODIs, Tests or T20 Internationals.

FRANCHISE SPREAD

You can pick a maximum of 6 players from a single IPL Team.

Variable Roles Explained:

There are many instances of players whose roles in a team are not fixed.Variable Roles give you the flexibility to pick such players for any of their roles. The following combinations have been introduced -Batsman/All Rounder, Batsman/Wicket Keeper, Bowler/All Rounder.

While selecting your squad, you don’t need to explicitly choose the role of the player. The system will automatically consider the playing role that would satisfy the squad balance criteria.

Scoring :

BATTING POINTS

• Base Score: 1 point per run.
• Impact Score: 2 points per six.
• -5 for a duck.
• Milestone Bonus: 10 points for every 25 runs scored.
• Pace Bonus: Runs Scored – Balls faced.

BOWLING POINTS

• Base Score:20 points per wicket.
• Impact Score:1 point per dot ball.
• 20 pointsfor a maiden over.
• Milestone Bonus: 10 pointsfor the 2nd wicket,
• 10 points for each subsequent wicket.
• Pace Bonus: 1.5 x Balls – Runs conceded. If it is positive, it is doubled.

FIELDING POINTS

• Catch:10 points.
• Stumping:15 points.
• Direct Hit:15 points.
• Run Out:10 points for each player involved.

BONUS POINTS

• Player of the Match:25 points.
• Victory bonus:5 points for victory in League Stage,10 points for victory in Playoffs.

POWER PLAYER 

It is the player whom you choose to earn double points for you.

Note : All players earn batting, bowling and fielding points, regardless of the roles they have been assigned. All the above points get doubled for your Power Player. Scoring rules remain the same across all game modes.

Squad Changing :

SUBSTITUTIONS

Before the tournament: Unlimited subs.
Match 1 to Match 56: 75 subs.
After Match 56 and before Qualifier 1: Unlimited subs.
Qualifier 1 to Final: 10 subs.

FREE UNCAPPED SUBS

Every match, you can bring in one uncapped player into the squad without it counting as a substitution. So, picking an uncapped player for each match is a great strategy.

POWER PLAYER

You can change your Power Player as many times as you want. So remember to change it for every match.

LOCK IN

Teams are locked when the first ball of a match is bowled.
Changes made after the first ball of a match is bowled will not affect points earned in that match. So if you drop a player after the first ball of the match is bowled, he’ll still earn points for you in that match.

For the Daily Challenge, you can make unlimited substitutions till the first ball of the first match of the day is bowled. You cannot make any changes to your squad for that day after the first ball of the day is bowled.

ALL STARS :

In All Stars you are asked to select eleven players and at least one player from each of the team. It is divided in four shows. And you have four chances to make a squad. You can select a squad for 1-14, 15-28, 29-42 and 43-56 matches each. No substitutions can be made after selecting a squad for a show. 

DAILY CHALLENGE :

Same as Championship but you have to select one squad each day, players being from the playing team of that day.

You can also create leagues and join leagues for extra prizes. On the championship page click on 'Create League' button to create a league or click on 'Join League' and provide the league number of the league you want to join to send a joining request.
