Since, Google+ is the world's 2nd largest social media platform, it is a good place to show your skills and popularize your blog. But after creating a Google Plus profile or Page, many people still don't have a badge on their blogs. In fact, that is not right because 'What you see is what you get', so you should try to have one on your blog too. It makes it easy for people on Google+ to follow you. But for this you need to make sure that you have upgraded to a Google+ profile. Its even better to have a page rather than a profile, so check out how to create one. Once you have created a page or profile and want to have a badge, follow the steps :
Steps :
- Select 'Layout' tab in your menu.
- Select add gadget on the place you want to add the badge. If you have not selected the right place you can still drag the gadget and adjust its place on your blog conveniently.
- Select your preferences on the next page. If you want to have a page or community badge, select page or community instead of person and get its URL.
- To get the URL just open the page or community and copy the number or name after 'https://plus.google.com/'.
- Example : 'https://plus.google.com/+UniquedsoftwareBlogspotOfficialPage/posts'. You might have a number instead of name but both will work.
- Now click 'Save'.
You are done and if you want to change the place of badge just drag it throughout the layout to desired location.
