Google+ was launched in June 2011 as a social network to compete in today's social media market. Google executives have described Google+ as "a social layer across all of Google's services", allowing them to share a user's identity and interests.The service is Google's fourth into social networking site after YouTube, Orkut and Blogger. It experienced strong growth in its initial years, although usage statistics have varied, depending on how the service is defined. User engagement has been relatively low. But Google+ is still a good way to introduce yourself to your viewers and audience that matters you. The simple steps to create a G+ page have been given below, go and give it a shot.
- Go to this page.
- Select 'Brand'. You can select others too but they are for other purposes that we will discuss some other day.
- After choosing brand fill the form and select the type of page. We selected community.
- Tick on the acceptance of terms and services.
- Click on 'Create Page'.
You are done!!!
Now you can upload a profile photo or a cover photo etc. Now you can get social with your fans.
