There are two ways to Activate Text Messaging in your Facebook Account.
1st way - If you are having verified phone number to your account then follow the given Step:
- Open Facebook and Log In to your account.
- Go to Settings.
- Then click on Mobile tab.
- If you have a verified phone number in your Facebook Account then click on "Activate Text Messaging" button.
- Then a dialog box will appear, in the box click on the link "add your phone no. here."
- Then simply provide your mobile number to the phone number box and click on "Continue" Button. Then a message will be sent to your given mobile number having conformation code in it.
- Then again a dialog box will appear asking you for conformation code, simply provide the conformation code which you get in you phone and click on "Confirm" button.
- Then again a dialog box will appear asking you to Turn on text notification or not and it will also ask you that you want to share your mobile or not.
- Then click of "Save Settings" button.
- Now you are done. Text notification is now on to your provided number.
2nd way - If you are not having verified phone number to your account then follow the given Step:
- Open Facebook and Log In to your account.
- Go to Settings.
- Then click on Mobile tab.
- Click on activate "Text Messaging".
- Then you follow the steps form 5 to 10 given above.
